About
On the documents I'm Simona Cerri, but my stage name is Simo Arshara.
I have explored all that is creativity and expression of the Soul in different artistic fields: jewel design, painting, writing, photography, digital art, music, video... and I still continue to play and have fun!
For several years, as a filmmaker, I have made a lot of music videos, short films and videos for theater and dance taking care of all stages from conception to release: directing, shooting, editing, post-production.
However, in 2020, I decided to devote myself to personal projects to explore the artistic fields that strongly appeal to me: digital art, experimental photography, ambient music production and artificial intelligence techniques.
Life is short and there is still so much to learn!
DIGITAL ART//
I consider digital art to be the meeting point between photography, art and inspiration. I have been playing around with Adobe Photoshop for many years, but it was only in 2021, thanks to a synchronic encounter, that I decided to delve deeper into studying the software and compositing techniques, to improve my skills and give shape to new visions.

MARTIN CLUNES ART PROJECT/
In 2021, thanks to the TV series Doc Martin, I discovered Martin Clunes and his whole world: films, documentaries, charity work, his love for animals, family and a lifestyle deeply connected to nature. I immediately became a big fan of the British actor, finding in him an unexpected creative mentor.
To experiment with graphic art, I started creating these works following my inspiration and personal vision, and I enjoyed it so much that what started as a simple experiment became a serious and ambitious artistic project, which I hope will one day turn into a book.
Capturing instants of beauty and turning them into art, that to me is photography.
I observe, listen, wait and play with my surroundings.
My favorite subjects are wherever I place my gaze.
Sometimes I walk aimlessly with my camera and let myself be attracted by the beauty hidden in small things, the majesty of open spaces or the wonder of the colors of the chasing seasons. Other times, however, I just want to pursue the shapes, curves, and architecture, simply capturing the moment in a shot.
But the shot is only the first step in the creative process; it is the raw material to be shaped. I am not a purist. I love post-production, manipulation, I love experimenting, transforming and sometimes twisting, until I get an image that can excite and amaze me.
