Stillness Within
This project comes from a more direct and intuitive kind of photography.
These are images taken while travelling, mostly in places connected to spirituality and contemplation — like Tibet and other locations where symbols, statues and sacred atmospheres naturally invite stillness and observation.
Here I don't work with complex digital transformations or compositing. The image stays close to what was actually seen in the moment of the shot. My work focuses mainly on light, colour and atmosphere, using filters and LUTs to bring everything closer to my visual language.
PROCESS
I photograph intuitively, letting the place guide my eye. I'm not looking to construct the image — I'm looking for its presence.
Afterwards I intervene very lightly, working on tones, contrast and atmosphere to bring each photograph closer to my visual sensibility. It's a process of subtraction more than addition.
CONCEPT
This project is about silence and presence. A state in which an image doesn't need to be transformed to carry meaning — it simply needs to be observed.
It's a search for stillness, for everyday spirituality, and for those moments when the world seems to slow down.
