Something happens with horses that's hard to explain. Time slows down. The mind goes quiet. When I'm with them, I feel at home. There's something in their presence that brings me back to the present moment immediately: the way they breathe, the silence they carry, the wave of love that moves through you, even their smell — the one that stays on you and in your nostrils for hours, and somehow keeps making you feel good.

Sometimes just touching them is enough. Sometimes just looking. Anyone who has truly lived with horses knows what I mean.

This project was born from that feeling.

PROCESS

The images come from real encounters. I bring my camera, but first I observe. I wait. I shoot only when I feel the moment is right. Some images stay close to the experience as it was lived. Others, through digital reworking, become more interior. Not to change what I saw, but to give back what I felt. Light, colour and visual silence work together to bring the image back to that same state of presence.

CONCEPT

For me the horse is not simply the subject of a photograph. It is a presence that changes the inner space. With them the mental noise drops, time loses its importance, and only what truly matters remains.

This project continues to grow with every new encounter.
